'Queen of Tears' Introduces Kim Soo Hyun's Character
Almost two months before its much-awaited premiere, tvN shared a glimpse of Kim Soo Hyun's soon-to-debut character in "Queen of Tears."
The romance series tells the story of Hong Hae In (Kim Ji Won), the chaebol heiress dubbed as the 'queen' of Queens Group's department stores, and Baek Hyun Woo, who is the head of Yongduri and called the 'supermarket prince,' as they encounter a crisis three years after getting married and begin their love again.
Returning to primetime after almost three years of hiatus, Kim Soo Hyun takes the role of Baek Hyun Woo, the legal director of Queens Group. He is also the loving husband of Hong Hae In.
Baek Hyun Woo embodies the perfect man image from his handsome face to his academic achievements, he indeed lived a good life. Having been raised well-off, Hyun Woo grew up kind and caring and soon eventually married the queen of department stores.

The character stills provided, clearly captured Baek Hyun Woo's dashing look while clad in different types of suits. In particular, his clean-cut suit and slicked-back hair showcased his expensive charms.
He also exhibits a gentle smile and serious expression while focusing on his work.
Even though he appears to have an almost perfect life, he hides a secret he can't tell anyone. While facing hardships from his in-laws and conflicted work life and personal life, Baek Hyun Woo experiences a crisis that causes the trajectory of his life.
These changes make the viewers wonder if he will be able to overcome the obstacles and live a happily married life.
Kim Soo Hyun is finally meeting his fans and viewers beginning in March as he gears up for another exciting transformation and noteworthy performances.
Many are already looking forward to Kim Soo Hyun's portrayal of Baek Hyun Woo's character and his chemistry with first-time on-screen partner Kim Ji Won.
