tvN teases viewers with Jeon Jong Seo's new character in "Wedding Impossible."
Returning to the small screen after 2 years since "Money Heist: Korea," the actress takes on a new challenge in the webtoon-based K-drama.
tvN Drops 'Wedding Impossible' Trailer
Taking on the role of Na Ah Jung, an unknown actress, she decides to go on a fake marriage with her longtime friend Lee Do Han, played by Kim Do Wan, to experience being the main character of her life.
However, her future brother-in-law, Lee Ji Han, portrayed by Moon Sang Min, is against the duo's marriage.
In the latest teaser released by tvN, Jeon Jong Seo reunites with Lee Do Han as they embark on a special mission-a fake marriage.
Right before their big day, Lee Ji Han opposes their plan.
"Did Jihan start to have a crush on his future sister-in-law without even knowing it?" the caption reads.
'Wedding Impossible' Release Date
Scheduled to premiere on February 26 at 8:50 p.m. KST, Jeon Jong Seo's new drama is to replace K-drama to "Marry My Husband," which will end on February 20.
Meanwhile, viewers will see "Wedding Impossible" via tvN while global viewers can watch it through TVING and Viki.
As for cast members, joining Jeon Jong Seo, Moon Sang Min, and Kim Do Wan as lead stars is Bae Yoon Kyung from "The King's Affection."
In addition to this, Joo Hyun Young will have a special appearance. She will act as Hong Na Ri and Ah Jeong's rival.
Jeon Jong Seo on 'Wedding Impossible'
In addition to her usual badass characters, Jeon Jong Seo will showcase her comedic side in the webtoon-based rom-com series.
In an interview, she described her role as "a character that viewers slowly come to root for."
Jeon Jong Seo shared that what drew her to play Na Ah Jeong was her charm. She also sees that viewers will be delighted with Ah Jeong's personality, which is "honest about her feelings."
Furthermore, Jeon Jong Seo is thrilled to star in her first television drama.
On the other hand, apart from her upcoming rom-com series, Jeon Jeong Seo will also headline TVING's historical K-drama.
Jeon Jong Seo Takes on Titular Role in 'Queen Woo'
Showcasing her flexibility as an actress, the 29-year-old beauty lands the titular role in "Queen Woo."
Helmed by "Oh My Gran" director Jung Se Kyo and penned by "The Royal Traitor" screenwriter Lee Byung Hak, the story focuses on the battle between tribes following the death of King Gogukcheon.
