Ak Hee Returns To the Palace
Ak Hee (Park Ji Hoon) shows his true desire to make Yeon Wol (Hong Ye Ji) fall for him, bringing crisis to the kingdom, especially to Sajo Hyun.
But this also brought a great consequence as Sajo Hyun regains his memories. He then steps up to save Yeon Wol from the Hwang Ga Ron's (Min Seon Hong) threats.
It turns out that Sajo Hyun is summoned by Ak Hee after explaining the whole story. Like what they've talked about, the former lets her be with his alter ego.
Sadly, taking turns in using their bodies takes its toll on them, slowing them down. Elsewhere, Sajo Yung (Hwang Hee) suspects that Ak Hee has returned.
Sajo Hyun Gets Caught In a Love Triangle
Sajo Yung plans to finally take over the throne using Ak Hee who is then lured by shaman Chung Ta (Hwang Seok Jeong).
However, Sajo Hyun wakes up in his body and spends time with Yeon Wol even though his memories haven't returned completely.
He still feels great attraction to the latter despite it all, and kisses her to confirm his feelings for Yeon Wol. Just when things see the light, a new wave of conflict arrives.
Geum Hwa (Ji Woo) breaks their peace and announces her pregnancy with Sajo Hyun's child. Unbeknownst to her, Ak Hee knows better.
Ak Hee Deceives Sajo Hyun For Personal Pleasure
Ak Hee deceives Sajo Hyun by saying that he's not the one Yeon Wol loves, shocking the crown prince. The latter then returns to the palace and follows Geum Hwa.
This leaves Yeon Wol in pain. She finds comfort from her assassin family and her teacher Yang Jae Yi (Kim Dong Won).
Not knowing how to comfort the young assassin, Yang Jae Yi chases after Sajo Hyun to remind him about Yeon Wol and the truth.
He tells him not to be deceived by the empress' lies. Sadly, a set of arrows hit him in the back, making him meet his sudden demise.
Sajo Hyun is then able to access his consciousness and read Ak Hee's memories from the past, realizing that his alter ego lied to him all along, creating a tragic ending.
