'The Impossible Heir' Update: Lee Jun Young & Hong Su Zu Give Glimpse of Their New Found Chemistry

The newest trio to debut on the small screen Lee Jae Wook, Lee Jun Young, and Hong Su Zu shared how they established a good rapport while working on their upcoming series "The Impossible Heir."

Disney Plus' "The Impossible Heir" is a mystery drama that will follow the story of three small-timers who team up in an attempt to take over Korea's biggest conglomerate. Lee Jae Wook is Han Tae Oh, the son of a killer; Lee Jun Young takes the role of Kang In Ha, the illegitimate son of a chaebol chairman; and Hong Su Zu is Na Hye Won, the daughter of a gambler who has burned her with debt.

Before they embarked on a meaningful journey for this project, the lead stars revealed that they shared meals. Apart from that, they also went on membership training trips, allowing them to establish a strong bond with each other.

In regards to their teamwork, the trio said that they share their worries and concerns with each other and that it was difficult to pick just one to mention.

Lee Jun Young Confident About His Synergy With Lee Jae Wook & Hong Su Zu

Idol-actor Lee Jun Young expressed, "I found it easy to focus on acting when looking into Lee Jae Wook and Hong Su Zu's eyes. Our chemistry on set was great, and I am grateful to be able to get to know such talented and good people."

Lead actress Hong Su Zu hoped that the viewers would look forward to the rapport among actors of similar ages, giving hints that their chemistry will play an important role in the soon-to-release series.

Apart from the stars, the drama's director, Min Yeon Hong revealed that he hoped Lee Jae Wook, Lee Jun Young, and Hong Su Zu would quickly become close so they could act more comfortably.

He added that after casting, they gathered at a guest house several times for table readings. In the succeeding days, the trio became close because their personalities matched well. Since then, the director had no worries.

Min Yeon Hong admitted that it was nice to see the trio creating a pleasant atmosphere on set while also caring and guiding each other.

Furthermore, "The Impossible Heir" is scheduled to premiere this February 28.
