In an interview with Naver, Kim Go Eun let fans in on her friendship with Lee Do Hyun.
The two worked together in the occult film "Exhuma," which was released on February 22 in cinemas nationwide. In the film, two transformed into shamans who were paid to relocate eerie-looking tombs in exchange for a hefty sum of money.

Kim Go Eun described their characters as "master and disciple" who need to treat each other with respect. She said that their chemistry was on top, thanks to their real-life friendship.
According to the actress, Lee Do Hyun took a vacation leave from the military to watch "Exhuma" alongside the cast and crew of the film.
"Lee Do Hyun texted me, saying, "Thank you, noona (older sis), for acting with me," Kim Go Eun shared. "It kind of felt awkward but good. He was so sweet."
When asked about a spin-off featuring the two characters, Kim Go Eun expressed her delight, stating that she would do it in a heartbeat.
'Exhuma' Successfully Tops Box Office
Just days after its release, the occult film "Exhuma" already enjoyed uninterrupted success.
According to the Korean Film Council, the film officially surpassed more than 2 million moviegoers, and achieved the biggest South Korean box office opening in 2024 so far.
As of this writing, "Exhuma" has already grossed a whopping 17 million USD, succeeding "Alienoid: Return to the Future," "Dog Days" and more.
