Jeon So Nee Returns With New Netflix Film

In an interview with the MEN Noblesse editorial team, Jeon So Nee shared her excitement about her forthcoming comeback with the brand new film "Parasyte: The Grey."

It's based on the original Japanese webtoon of the same name by Hitoshi Iwaaki, and it depicts the lives of humans who become hosts to parasitical life-forms from outer space that invade the Earth.

According to Jeon So Nee, the work's theme scarred her as a child. She shared that she couldn't look at the comic books due to its gruesome graphics.

However, it stirred excitement after she read it for her upcoming work. She shared:

"I went to a comic cafe by myself and spent 6 to 7 hours reading everything. I was able to experience the depth of the original work."

When asked what to expect from "Parasyte: The Grey," Jeon So Nee pointed out the "deep philosophical themes and conflict between classes in human society" that are interpolated in the narrative.

Jeon So Nee revealed that she enjoyed filming the work, saying that she had a lot of fun working with the legendary director Yeon Sang Ho who also led "Train To Busan" and "Hellbound."
