Kim Soo Hyun Talks About Career in 'You Quiz on the Block'
On the March 13 episode of the famous entertainment talk show "You Quiz on the Block," Kim Soo Hyun made his first-ever guest appearance.
There, the actor confessed the weight and burden he felt after winning the grand prize in a drama awards show.
Kim Soo Hyun debuted through the series "Will it Snow For Christmas?" in 2009, followed by KBS2's "Dream High" in 2011, MBC's "The Moon Embracing the Sun," the movie "The Thieves" in 2012, and SBS "My Love From the Star" in 2013. The actor also impressed the viewers with his performances in the movies "Secretly, Greatly" and "Real," and the thriller drama "One Ordinary Day."

On March 9, 2024, Kim Soo Hyun finally made his comeback series after three years with tvN's "Queen of Tears," alongside Kim Ji Won.
Kim Soo Hyun Confesses the Weight of His Popularity
As the interview went on, the actor reflected on his past series "My Love From the Star."
"I thought it was great that the series was released and people liked it more than I expected and found it more interesting, but as time went on, I didn't even have time to watch their reactions."
Afterward, he won the KBS Youngest Acting Award through the drama "The Producers" in 2015. Kim Soo Hyun then confessed the burden of earning the title.
"When I think about it now, it was a really good time and I had a lot of things. But at that time, I couldn't really enjoy it at all.
I was embarrassed that I was receiving so much love. But it's good to make people laugh and cry while acting."
Despite the attention he was receiving, he couldn't enjoy the comfort of becoming a superstar.
But since acting is his passion, Kim Soo Hyun learned to adjust to the world of entertainment and to continue pursuing his career.
"I had to do better, be more thorough, and protect something, and not even a single incident or accident could happen. From then on, I think I felt like I was being pushed around even though no one was pushing me."
