Kim Soo Hyun In Talks To Star in 'Knock Off' + New Series To Be Helmed by 'Stranger' Season 2 Director
In an exclusive report cited by Osen, Kim Soo Hyun is tapped to play the lead role in "Knock Off."
The top star is "positively reviewing" the offer after receiving the script for the Disney+ series.
If the actor officially accepts, he will work alongside Director Park Hyun Seok ("Uncontrollably Fond" and "Stranger" Season 2).
Meanwhile, the forthcoming series "Knock Off" is a black-comedy genre K-drama that will be produced by Arc Media, which also worked with "Love Story" and "Casino."

Meanwhile, Kim Soo Hyun is garnering a positive response for his performance and team-up with Kim Ji Won in "Queen of Tears."
During the roundtable interview, the top star admitted that he felt "nervous" and even stuttered in front of Kim Ji Won during filming.
Expressing his excitement to star with the actress, he explained:
"To be working with someone you only see onscreen, it's very exciting. But it's also something that induces a lot of nervousness."
In addition, Kim Soo Hyun said that he and Kim Ji Won meshed well because they are both introverted and reserved, adding that they "did take time getting closer."
As for their working relationship, the actor shared that it took time for them to "become friends."
"We were able to not be overly expressive with our feelings and to know what each other felt and what the other was thinking."
The actress also expressed her thoughts about working with Kim Soo Hyun, and said that she has been a fan of the actor since his "My Love from the Star'' K-drama, where he teamed up with Jun Ji Hyun.
Other than "Queen of Tears," Kim Soo Hyun also appeared in numerous notable K-dramas. Among his first projects was the hit musical series "Dream High" with Bae Suzy, IU, Ok Taecyeon, and more.
It was then followed by another lead role in "Moon Embracing the Sun," where he won Best Actor in the Television category at the 2012 Baeksang Arts Awards.
In addition to his works, Kim Soo Hyun's drama also includes the iconic "My Love from the Star," "The Producers," "One Ordinary Day," and, of course, "It's Okay to Not Be Okay."
