WJSN Bona bared her heart and spoke about her recently concluded series "Pyramid Game" in an interview.
She shared her honest feelings on the work, and her experiences taking on the psychological thriller genre for the very first time.
The idol-actress also talked about her female friendships in the industry, including Hallyu superstar Kim Tae Ri.
WJSN Bona Shares Most Memorable 'Pyramid Game' Moment
In an interview with ET News, WJSN Bona shared her excitement over the success of her psychological thriller drama "Pyramid Game."
The drama tells the story of students who participate in a voting game in order to avoid landing the bottom of the food chain, and become school violence targets.
In the show, Bona transformed into a symbol of rebellion who destroyed the system. She thanked the viewers who loved her acting, and supported the work from beginning until the end.
To show her grateful heart, Bona talked about her most memorable experience during filming. According to her, her favorite moment is watching her character overcome fear and pain.
"I loved seeing her eventually reaching her goal together with her friends," Bona said. On the other hand, she revealed that the cursing and foul body language was "challenging" for her.
"Since I was playing a student, it was so awkward to curse and even put up my middle finger," Bona admitted. "Thankfully, I was able to perfect it by synchronizing with my character."
In addition to that, Bona also talked about her friendships with fellow actresses in the interview.
WJSN Bona Flaunts Sweet Friendship With Kim Tae Ri
Even after 2 years, Bona and Kim Tae Ri remained friends behind the cameras. To recall, the two worked together in "Twenty Five, Twenty One" in 2022 with Nam Joo Hyuk.
Bona felt that her acting in "Pyramid Game" wasn't in vain, thanks to Kim Tae Ri's constant advice and guidance. Bona revealed that she constantly asked for the actress' criticisms.
"I want to build my character by challenging myself. Thanks to Kim Tae Ri, I knew the things I needed to improve," Bona added. "It eased some of my burdens as an artist."
Moreover, Bona also shared her affection for "Pyramid Game" co-stars Jang Da Ah and Kang Na Eon, praising them for "perfectly embodying their roles with ease."
