Ma Dong Seok is gearing up for a special event, as the actor announced an upcoming ceremony with Ye Jung Hwa.
Instead of a press conference and premiere night, the Marvel actor is saying "I do" to his longtime girlfriend.
Ma Dong Seok and Ye Jung Hwa to Wed in May
In a report, Ma Dong Seok's agency, Big Punch Entertainment, confirmed to News 1 that the couple has decided to host a grand celebration.
"The couple will be getting married in May. The wedding will be held in a quiet private ceremony."
There are also speculations that the upcoming wedding will be on the 25th, attended by only the couple's relatives, family, and close friends and colleagues.
To recall, Ma Dong Seok publicly confirmed that he was dating Ye Jung Hwa in 2016.
The model, actress, and influencer is 17 years his junior.
After six years of dating, they reportedly first registered their marriage.
Unfortunately, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, they have decided to skip the wedding ceremony.

One of the successful Korean stars who managed to make a name for himself in the international scene, Ma Dong Seok, also known as Don Lee in Hollywood, reached global success after joining the hit K-zombie movie "Train to Busan '' with Gong Yoo.
Other than solidifying his status in the local industry, he played one of the main characters in the MCU's "Eternals."
Ma Dong Seok takes on the character of Gilgamesh, the kindest and strongest member of the community. He worked alongside Angelina Jolie, Kit Harington, and more.
After his stint in the MCU, Ma Dong Seok continued to reign at the Korean box office with his blockbuster film "The Roundup: No Way Out," where he also served as the executive producer.
At the time, the movie, which is the sequel to the 2022 film "The Roundup," reached 10 million moviegoers.
Interestingly, "The Roundup,which consists of a sequel, is the first Korean film to surpass 30 million moviegoers.
With the success of the 2023 installment, Ma Dong Seok returns with the second sequel, "The Roundup: Punishment."
Slated to have its premiere on April 24, the movie featured a new villain through Kim Moo Yeol, with Ma Dong Seok reprising his role as the top-notch detective Ma Seok Do.
Prior to its theatrical release, "The Roundup: Punishment" was first screened at the 74th Berlin International Film Festival, also known as Berlinale, in February 2024 for the special gala category together with other international movies such as Love Lies Bleeding," which stars Kristen Stewart.
