To recall, in episode 10, when Hong Hae In (Kim Ji Won) slapped her brother Hong Soo Chul (Kwak Dong Yeon), Baek Hyun Woo commented "She doesn't hit me," assuring his family that his wife doesn't do it to him.
It was then revealed that the line was improvised by the actor. Even his co-actors burst out laughing after hearing Kim Soo Hyun's ad-lib.
Kim Soo Hyun's acting skills have been the center of discussions online. Playing the role of Baek Hyun Woo, he captivates viewers with the cool-headed lawyer persona, yet also charms the audience with his visuals and how perfectly he showcases his emotions.
As a seasoned actor with more than 15 years in the industry, it's already given that he is brilliant and experienced, causing viewers to overly immerse with his witty ad-libs without breaking his character and the flow of the scene.
Another hilarious ad-lib that Kim Soo Hyun did that brought laughter to viewers and the staff was during his drunk scene in Episode 1. He paid homage to a cute line delivered by Kim Ji Won in her drama "Fight for My Way" by incorporating it into his own line.

This is not the first time that Kim Soo Hyun impressed the audience with his improvised lines and acting.
He also did ad-libs in "My Love from the Star" during his kiss scene with Jun Ji Hyun.
Why is Kim Soo Hyun's Ad-Libs Loved By Viewers?
In an interview, Kim Soo Hyun shared:
"Even though it wasn't in the script, there was no better way to express love for someone than by holding their hand."
Thanks to his acting prowess, the viewership ratings for "Queen of Tears" continue to skyrocket.
In addition, he also topped the brand reputation index surveyed by the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute from March 10 to April 10.
A professor of Korean literature at Chungnam National University, Yoon Seok Jin, analyzed the reason behind Kim Soo Hyun's ad-libs being loved by the public. He elaborated:
"One of the characteristics of writer Park Ji Eun's dramas is the effective use of intertextuality, which brings well-known series, advertisements, and other elements into the work to evolve laughter."
He added:
"Kim Soo Hyun's past collaborations with Park Ji Eun and experience in previous works have helped him with his ad-libs."
