"Queen of Tears" actress Kim Ji Won graced the cover of Cosmopolitan Korea for its May 2024 edition. In the subsequent interview, she revealed the work she wants to do next.

Kim Ji Won flaunted her natural beauty on the cover of fashion magazine Cosmopolitan Korea. Apart from the pictorial, the actress also sat for an interview where she talked about her career.

On April 17, Cosmopolitan Korea released snippets of the actress' photoshoot, where she was praised for her diverse expressions and poses for the work.

During the interview, the "Fight for My Way" actress was asked about what she wants to cherish forever. She answered:

"As I get older, I can feel new values that emerge and replace the old ones."

Kim Ji Won added that through such repeated experiences, may it be in life or work, she came to have the attitude of learning new things every day and not insisting on the same thing.

"While playing Hong Hae In in 'Queen of Tears,' I learned to be honest and brave in all aspects of life."

Kim Ji Won Defines Love Through Hong Hae In's Line

Kim Ji Won was asked to define love, and the actress shared a beautiful line from her character Hong Hae In, which she finds inspiring.

"Hae In has this line saying, 'To what I think, love is not about doing great things, but to be there for each other no matter what happens.' I liked it so much. I think love can be the strength for one not only in happy days but also in tough times when they feel exhausted and hit rock bottom."

From Yoo Myung Joo in "Descendants of the Sun" to Yeom Mi Jeong in "My Liberation Notes," then Hong Hae In in "Queen of Tears," Kim Ji Won's impeccable acting has gained recognition through the different kinds of characters she has portrayed through her works and imprinted clear images in viewers' memories.

Kim Ji Won Wants To Challenge Herself in Crime & Thriller Genres

Regarding the kind of genres and characters she wants to work on next, Kim Ji Won expressed her desire to try out new things.

"I'll do my best when given any chance to do anything, but I thought it would be great if I could challenge genre projects in the future."

Hinting at her possible project, Kim Ji Won shared that she wants to try crime and thriller genres, as she enjoyed watching Netflix's "Money Heist: Korea-Joint Economic Area" and the movie "Chinatown."
