Despite interacting with fans as one of his favorite things to do, "Queen of Tears" actor Kwak Dong Yeon shared that he stopped doing THIS as he began to get scared.

Kwak Dong Yeon starred in the recently-concluded megahit drama "Queen of Tears."

In this series, the actor once again delivered his versatile acting, bringing out humor and also immersing the audience in his heartfelt and dramatic scenes with Lee Joo Bin.

The 27-year-old actor has been praised for his performance in "Queen of Tears," but he also captured our hearts with his brilliant acting in his previous dramas "Love in the Moonlight," "Vincenzo," "It's Okay to Not Be Okay," "Big Mouth," and "Gaus Electronics."

Now, viewers are anticipating Kwak Dong Yeon's future projects.

After his drama concluded, the celebrity sat for an interview and shared stories related to "Queen of Tears."

Noting that he has played many complex characters already, he was asked if he finds his strengths shine in roles that can freely express various spectrums.

According to him, he personally prefers characters with complexity rather than depicting one distinct characteristic.

"I find it more enjoyable to play roles who change and discover different values as they run towards something they want. I want to widen my range by portraying different types of characters in the future."

When discussing his Instagram story segment "Ask Me Anything (AMA) Expert," the "Vincenzo" star admitted that he already stopped doing it.

"I stopped doing 'AMA,' I didn't expect it to get big and I started to get scared. I enjoyed it at the time. I still like humor and wordplay, but I doubted myself about sharing it in an open space where everyone can see it. I find it now difficult to enjoy."

Kwak Dong Yeon added that he did stop doing the segment online, but there are still other ways to better communicate with fans.

Meanwhile, he also shared that he was grateful and satisfied to see people remember him in the works he starred in.

"The roles I've portrayed haven't lost their vitality and there's a character engraved in someone's heart among them."

When asked about the kind of work he wanted to do next, Kwak Dong Yeon said that he would like to do action or thriller.
