Kim Ji Won is giving fans a special treat after the huge success of "Queen of Tears."

Following the achievement and love that the tvN rom-com series received from fans, the actress is delighting fans with a special surprise.

Kim Ji Won's agency, HighZium Studio, announced that the actress will be having her first ever fan meet since her debut!

After 14 years since she started out in the industry, the actress will be seeing her amazing fans through a fun-filled day of interaction. The label also released Kim Ji Won's fan meet poster with "BE MY ONE" as the title.

The upcoming event will be held on June 22 and will take place at Shinhan Card SOL Pay Square Live Hall in Seoul.

Kim Ji Won's agency also released a video where the actress expressed her excitement for the upcoming event.

"I'm already thrilled about the prospect of spending quality time with my fans. I'm diligently preparing, so please stay tuned."

On social media, fans are thrilled to see Kim Ji Won in person. Others were also wishing that the actress would have her meet and greet in neighboring countries and meet other Asian fans.

Kim Ji Won on 'Queen of Tears' Sucess

Released on March 9, "Queen of Tears" instantly captivated viewers with its interesting story and the on-screen chemistry of Kim Ji Won and Kim Soo Hyun as they portrayed as married couple Hong Hae In and Baek Hyun Woo.

As the rom-com series continued its broadcast, viewers were drawn to the characters, especially how the couple depicted their chaotic marriage. 

Following the finale, "Queen of Tears" landed the second-place spot in Netflix's global TV show ratings in the non-English category.

On top of that, Kim Ji Won and Kim Soo Hyun's drama received an impressive 4.1 million views from April 22 to 28. This achievement marked a new milestone by maintaining the rankings for eight consecutive weeks.

In her interview, Kim Ji Won expressed her thoughts about the massive success of the drama.

Kim Ji Won revealed that the most memorable scene for her was in Episode 11, adding that it was the moment where she cried while watching.

"While filming the scene where Hae In's family learns that she is sick, the senior actors were sad together [with me] beyond the camera even though it was a scene they did not appear in, so I could immerse myself more while acting."

She added that her "tears were flowing a lot naturally," all thanks to the presence of the senior actors.

Moreover, she also expressed her gratitude to the viewers. The actress admitted that she felt "nervous and excited" during the production and while waiting for the official premiere.
