Headlined by Ma Dong Seok, the Korean-Canadian actor reprised his role as the hotshot detective, Ma Seok Do, who prevents turf wars and sydicate organizations from reigning in Seoul.
Interestingly, the third installment of the hit movie "The Outlaws" remains soaring at the Korean box office.

In the report, the Korean Film Council announced that Ma Dong Seok's movie "The Roundup: Punishment" had surpassed 8 million moviegoers as of 8 a.m. on May 6.
With this, the action film also became the fastest movie to reach 8 million moviegoers in 2024.
In addition to this, the sequel also overpowered the achievements of the previous installments, especially "The Roundup: No Way Out," which was released in 2023.
To recall, the movie hit the 8 million mark in two weeks since release, while "The Roundup: Punishment" hit the same number of moviegoers in 13 days.

Ma Dong Seok continues to entertain the viewers with his role as the top-notch detective Ma Seok Do in "The Roundup" series.
Initially premiered in 2017 as "The Outlaws," the detective pursues to break off the turf war and the operation of various syndicates in Seoul.
Interestingly, the 2024 installment introduces a new villain through Kim Mu Yeol, who is best known for his roles in "Juvenile Justice," "No Way Out," and "Sweet Home" Season 2.
Taking the role of the ruthless villain Baek Chang Ki, he is an ex-special forces officer who now runs an online illegal gambling organization.
In a previous interview, Kim Mu Yeol revealed that he purposely gained weight for the role. To showcase the muscular body of the powerful villain, he gained 10 kilograms.
"Baek Chang Ki wields a dagger and relies on technique to overpower his opponents, so I made efforts not just to gain weight indiscriminately but to build a body suitable for the character."
Meanwhile, joining Ma Seok Do is IT genius Jang Dong Chul, played by Lee Dong Hwi. He is cooperating with the Metropolitan Police Investigation Unit and Cyber Team, which includes Jang Yi Soo, portrayed by Park Ji Hwan.
