Wi Ha Joon skyrocketed to fame after landing a lead role in the blockbuster Netflix K-drama "Squid Game."
Since then, viewers have gotten to see more of the actor's portrayal in thriller and action series, which includes his role in "Bad and Crazy."
In addition to this, he also played the villain role in "The Worst of Evil" alongside Ji Chang Wook.
As Wi Ha Joon continues to showcase his flexibility in acting, his new drama, "The Midnight Romance in Hagwon," delves into heavy romance.

During his appearance with Elle Korea together with co-star Jung Ryeo Won, Wi Ha Joon shared how he prepared for his role in "The Midnight Romance in Hagwon," considering that it's far different from his previous K-dramas.

While others opt for beefing out and spending their time at the gym to be physically fit, he found himself listening to music.
"To get immersed, I listened to emotional music that I didn't normally listen to and also referenced melodrama."
Through this, he got to know more about his character and somehow unexpectedly showed changes in his lifestyle.
"What's interesting is that the more I fell in love with Jun-ho, the more kind people around me became. My clothing style also changed, and my friends would ask me what was going on."
In the TVN series, Wi Ha Joon played Lee Joon Ho. He is a former star student at the academy where Seo Hye Jin (Jung Ryeo Won) teaches. Apart from this, she was also Joon Ho's first love.
Years later, he decides to quit his high-paying job and start his career as an instructor.
Despite his parents opposing his decision about his career change, he felt the fulfillment that he was longing for through his drastic change.
Besides learning to love his character, Wi Ha Joon revealed his good working relationship with Jung Ryeo Won.

When asked about his first impression of his co-star, the actor said she "was somehow cold and chic."
"But when I got to know her, she was like a 'dog' and had a charm that made me want to make fun of her," the actor explained.
Besides the duo, "The Midnight Romance in Hagwon" also featured So Ju Yeon as Joon Ho and Hye Jin's colleague, and Kim Jong Tae as the academy's director.
Wi Ha Joon and Jung Ryeo Won's new drama premiered after "Queen of Tears," with broadcast dates every Saturday and Sunday via TVN, TVING, and Viki.
