Park Bo Gum Promotes His Movie Comeback 'Wonderland'

Park Bo Gum just made his silver screen comeback with "Wonderland," where he shares a frame with Bae Suzy, Choi Woo Shik, Tang Wei and more.

Amid the release, the actor continues to promote the work by attending various shows. In one of his media interviews conducted on June 4, the actor talked more about his movie.

"Wonderland" features the story of meeting a loved one again through Wonderland, a video call service that restores dead people with artificial intelligence (AI).

Park Bo Gum portrays the role of Tae Joo, the boyfriend of Jung In, played by Bae Suzy, who is unfamiliar and confused by everything she encounters again after waking up from a coma.

Park Bo Gum Talks About His Friendship With Byeon Woo Seok

In the interview, Park Bo Gum talked about the film's VIP premiere, where he invited some of his colleagues and close friends.

Among the celebrity friends he invited was Byeon Woo Seok, whom he collaborated with in the 2020 drama "Record of Youth." The latter is garnering immense popularity due to his drama "Lovely Runner."

Park Bo Gum shared that after watching the film, Byeon Woo Seok messaged him and told him he enjoyed and was moved by "Wonderland."

He then recalled the experience working with Byeon Woo Seok.

"Filming with Woo Seok was fun. There were some NGs and we also laughed a lot."

Candidly, during the interview, Park Bo Gum shared that he's proud of the ongoing success of the "Lovely Runner" actor.

"I contacted him the other day and told him to take care of his health. I am happy to see him doing well."

Park Bo Gum and Byeon Woo Seok remain in touch and continue to show support for each other.

Byeon Woo Seok will begin his Asian fan meeting this June, while Park Bo Gum is preparing for his small screen return through Netflix's "When Life Gives You Tangerine," where he will team up with singer-actress IU.

"Wonderland" is now showing in various cinemas.
