'The Atypical Family' Solidifies Global Popularity Thru Netflix's Top 10 Chart
The weekend primetime is occupied by JTBC's current trending series "The Atypical Family," starring some of the biggest names in the industry, Go Doo Shim, Jang Ki Yong, Chun Woo Hee, Claudia Kim, Park So Yi, Oh Man Seok, and Choi Gwang Rok.
Despite only having 12 episodes, the series immediately captured the viewers' attention for its unique and intriguing narrative.
"The Atypical Family" follows the story of the Bok family, who have individual superpowers but lost their abilities due to modern diseases. They met Do Da Hae, a con artist who will help them regain their powers.
The fantasy series is already heading to its finale, but before it bids farewell to the audience, the drama received an impressive achievement.
On June 5, it was reported that "The Atypical Family" ranked fourth in Netflix's Global Top 10 TV in the non-English category with a cumulative viewing time of 17.4 million hours, making it into the global top 10 list for four consecutive weeks.
In addition to the drama's back-to-back achievements, it had successfully entered the top 10 in 32 countries, solidifying its ongoing global popularity.
According to Netflix, the data gathered was from May 27 to June 2.

In the survey released by Good Data Corporation, an online competitiveness analysis agency for K-content, "The Atypical Family" ranked second for four consecutive weeks, drawing keen attention from domestic viewers.
What To Expect in 'The Atypical Family' Finale
Meanwhile, Episode 10, which aired on June 2, revealed the tearful and desperate confession of Bok Gwi Ju to Do Da Hae.
This raises questions about his future.
Bok Gwi Ju, on the other hand, learned about Da Hae's last scam to save him, which led to their relationship taking a new turn.
On top of this, Bok Ina, his daughter, found out about his predicted death, adding tension to the upcoming episodes.
With only two episodes remaining, attention is focused on the direction of their fate to see if they can change their destiny and save each other.
