Byeon Woo Seok Syndrome Continues As 'Lovely Runner' Star Dominates June Popularity Rankings

Familiar faces who graced the small screen with their respective dramas made another achievement as they successfully earned spots in the June Drama Actor Brand Reputation Rankings.

As the Byeon Woo Seok Syndrome continues, the actor effortlessly topped the Popularity Ranking. According to the Korean Business Research Institute, they were able to collect 71, 960, 710 data points from May 11 to June 11, 2024, for 50 actors appearing in series during this period. It has been said that this marks a 5.99 percent increase compared to the 67, 895, 282 data points analyzed in May.

The Brand Reputation Index which measures consumer engagement, communication volume, media coverage, and community interaction released a report naming the list of stars who made it to this month's popularity ranking.

This organization provides insights into the positive and negative evaluations of the brand, media interest, consumer attention and communication, community spread of issues, and popularity content.

Topping the list is none other than Byeon Woo Seok, who captured millions of hearts through his first lead drama "Lovely Runner." According to the data released, he garnered a brand reputation index of 12,399,453.

Coming second on the list is "The Atypical Family" actress Chun Woo Hee, who received a brand reputation index of 5,018,136, and Kim Hye Yoon came third with an index of 4,291,674.

Another "Lovely Runner" star made it to the top 4, who is none other than, Song Geon Hee.

According to the institute's director, Koo Chang Hwan, in the June drama actor brand reputation analysis, Byeon Woo Seok who is one of the most talked about celebrities in the industry has these terms linked to his name based on the analysis data, 'sweet,' 'warm,' are 'touching.'

In addition, the keyword analysis highlighted "Lovely Runner," "shower," and "fan meeting."
