Wang Yibo's Questionable Ensemble At Paris Fashion Week Become Hot Topic

Chinese actor Wang Yibo was recently appointed as the newest global brand ambassador of the Spanish luxury fashion brand Loewe. He was invited to this year's Paris Fashion Week and flew from China to Europe.

With his popularity, many are excited to see him and his ensemble for the big event. Fans were happy to see his presence at the fashion event. However, not everyone was satisfied with his overall look.

In particular with his outfit. He showed up in a questionable look at the brand's show that happened last June 22.

The young star, who found fame in "The Untamed and Legend of Fei," donned a black jacket layered over what looked like a denim shirt that sprouted bright colors pink, yellow, orange, and blue pieces of fabric.

According to media reports, the shirt Wang Yibo was wearing is a one-of-a-kind piece from Loewe's Autumn/Winter 2024 collection and will not be sold.

Netizens Compare Wang Yibo's Outfit to Feather Duster

The colorful top was compared to a variety of things including a feather duster, toilet-cleaning brush, and even a feathered shuttlecock. Netizens shared their different opinions regarding the actor's outfit.

"Isn't that the feather duster my parents used to discipline me as a kid?"

Some blamed that it was Wang Yibo's stylist or Loewe designer, Jonathan Anderson's vision.

Netizens also observed and speculated that Yibo might not have been a fan of the outfit, pointing out that he was unhappy at the event, sporting a sour expression.

"With that ensemble, it's no wonder he didn't smile."

Meanwhile, Wang Yibo posted some snaps of him taken at the fashion event. He was also spotted having a close interaction with the legendary Anna Wintour. The male star also thanked Jonathan for inviting him to the fashion event.

Loewe's Creative Director, Jonathan Anderson then expressed his gratitude to the actor's attendance at the event, through Wang Yibo's Instagram post.
