‘My Name’ Cast Update 2024: What’s Next for Han So Hee, Ahn Bo Hyun, Park Hee Soon?

In 2021, Netflix introduced a unique revenge drama called "My Name," starring Han So Hee, Ahn Bo Hyun, and Park Hee Soon. 

Showcasing suspense, action, and romance rolled into one, viewers got to see how versatile these lead stars are as they take on challenging roles. 

Not only that but Han So Hee slayed her role as the revenge-driven Yoon Ji Woo, whose mission is to avenge her father, who died in a brutal death. 

Interestingly, the Netflix series received favorable responses from both local and global viewers. 

As mentioned in Rotten Tomatoes, an online aggregator of movie and TV shows, "My Name" scored 100% in Tomatometer and 91% in audience score, proving that the 8-episode series is worth watching. 

However, three years after the premiere, Netflix and drama officials haven't made a concrete announcement whether "My Name" Season 2 will be renewed or not. 

On the other hand, in case you miss the "My Name" cast, here's what keeps Han So Hee, Ahn Bo Hyun, and Park Hee Soon busy. 

Han So Hee

After the two-part K-drama "Gyeongseong Creature," Han So Hee will be returning with two upcoming series. 

Among these is the highly-anticipated K-drama with Jeon Jong Seo, as they starred in the womance-themed K-drama "Project Y."

It depicts the story of two best friends who have a daring ambition to steal 8 billion KRW, or around $5.8 million worth of gold bars, and disappear without a trace.

The news was confirmed in April 2024, leaving fans excited to see the K-drama beauties in one project. 

Other than Han So Hee's new drama with Jeon Jong Seo, she is also headlining the action fantasy series "Dotgabi," penned by Han Ji Hoon of "River Where the Moon Rises" and directed by Oh Jin Suk of "Queenmaker."

Ahn Bo Hyun

Other than Han So Hee, her "My Name" co-star An Bo Hyun is also booked and busy in the upcoming months. 

Following the first season of "Flex X Cop," he will return as chaebol-turned-police officer Jin Yi Soo in Season 2. 

Not only that, because Ahn Bo Hyun stars in his first historical K-drama, "Haesi's Shinru." He will take on the role of Crown Prince Yihyang, which was initially offered to Kim Seon Ho, but he turned it down. 

Adding to Ahn Bo Hyun's drama list is another historical K-drama, "God's Beads," with veteran actor Lee Sung Min. 

Park Hee Soon

Last on the list is the versatile star Park Hee Soon. After "The Bequeathed," he will return to Netflix with the original series "Country and Nation." It is an action mystery K-drama helmed by Baek Seung Hwan of "Double Patty."

Park Hee Soon will play the main character alongside the equally talented Yoo Jae Myung.
