Actress Kim Sejeong Is Back With New Rom-Com K-Drama

Kim Sejeong made a big impression in her previous work "Business Proposal" where she teamed up with model-actor Ahn Hyo Seop. Despite putting them in one frame for the first time, their tandem immediately received love from the viewers.

They established great chemistry on screen which already sparked dating speculations among fans. But later on, they were cleared by their labels that they were just friends and good colleagues, with no romantic relationship involved.

Since Kim Sejeong always creates a good rapport with her co-stars, fans are already looking forward to her next screen project and who will be her new leading man.

Earlier this year, the singer-actress delighted fans and viewers when her label confirmed that she would be back with a new drama "Drunken Romance." It is a rom-com about a sales representative for a liquor company and a local brewer.

In April, it was announced that rising actor Lee Jong Won is also confirmed to lead the work and will be Kim Sejeong's next leading man.

"Drunken Romance" is said to be helmed by Director Park Seon Ho, who is renowned for his projects on famous dramas like "Business Proposal," "Suspicious Partner" and "My Strange Hero." This also marks his second collaboration with Kim Sejeong.

Kim Sejeong & Lee Jong Won Spotted Filming 'Drunken Romance'

On July 1, Kim Sejeong and Lee Jong Won created a buzz on various social media platforms as many fans spotted them filming in Busan and Pohang Si. In the photos provided by fans, the two stars along with their other cast members were filming on a beach, delivering excitement to the public.

It has been said that the filming of the 12-episode romantic-comedy series started in May. In June, several photos and clips from the set surfaced online. Among the pictures shared were Kim Sejeong's selfie, along with different behind-the-scenes clips from the set.

While the stars and its crew are busy filming the drama, there are speculations that "Drunken Romance" will hit the small screen beginning September this year. However, this is yet to be confirmed by the production team.

Kim Sejeong and Lee Jong Won's drama will be released on ENA Channel.
