Byeon Woo Seok Outshined by THESE Two Actors in Star Ranking

Byeon Woo Seok failed to top the male actor category of the Star Ranking this July after two notable actors outshined him in the voting scores. 

Based on the voting made by fans, Lee Jun Ho, Kim Nam Gil, and the "Lovely Runner" star were named as the top 3 actors in the latest rankings. 

Per report, the 2PM member took first place, followed by Kim Nam Gil in second with 32,311 votes.

Meanwhile, Byeon Woo Seok completed the top 3 after garnering 6,249 votes from the public. 

Despite landing in third place, the rising star took the top spot in Actor Brand Reputation Rankings for the month of June after hitting a total of 14,441,257 brand reputation index. 

This only showed how the huge craze from the hit K-drama "Lovely Runner" continues to dominate the Korean entertainment scene. 

What's Next for Byeon Woo Seok? 

Following the massive success of the rom-com "Lovely Runner," Byeon Woo Seok has been visible with local and international projects. 

He made his Fashion Week debut in Milan after being invited to grace Prada's Menswear Spring/Summer 2025 collection. 

With the South Korean making heads turn with his presence and undeniable charm, Byeon Woo Seok lands as the top influencer for Milan Fashion Week Menswear SS25.

As mentioned by influencer marketing platform Lefty, the rising star has garnered $5.47 worth of earned media value (EMV) from Prada, where he serves as one of the global ambassadors, after only sharing two posts. 

On top of this, Byeon Woo Seok is reportedly booked until September 2025. Among his upcoming activities are his Asian fan meet and 18 advertisements to be filmed. 

Byeon Woo Seok on the Success of 'Lovely Runner'

In an interview with The Korea Times, Byeon Woo Seok talked about his thoughts regarding the overwhelming response of viewers towards the rom-com K-drama "Lovely Runner."

With the "Sun Jae syndrome," referring to his character in the TVN series, the South Korean star credits his success to "luck."

According to him, there are several reasons why the drama became a huge hit. This includes the overall story, thanks to the writer, the director, and the team behind the K-drama.

"It was a complex and well-crafted production. All these work out so well, and I can't think of other words than sheer luck."

Other than "Lovely Runner," Byeon Woo Seok has portrayed a villain role in the action fantasy rom-com "Strong Girl Namsoon" with Lee Yoo Mi, Kim Jung Eun, Kim Hae Sook, and Ong Seung Woo. 

Adding to the list of Byeon Woo Seok dramas are "Moonshine," "Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency," and the movies "Soulmate" and "20th Century Girl."
