Actress Gong Min-jeong and actor Jang Jae-ho, who portrayed a married pair in the tvN drama "Marry My Husband," are scheduled to get married in September, as verified by sources on Friday. The pair, both aged 37, will hold an exclusive ceremony in Seoul, which will be attended by their immediate family members and close friends.

Gong, known by her birth name Kim Min-jeong, and Jang initially encountered each other as coworkers but developed a stronger bond during the production of "Marry My Husband," which was broadcasted in February. Gong played the character of Yang Joo-ran in the drama, while Jang portrayed the part of Lee Jae-won. Despite the conclusion of their characters' relationship on screen, the actors discovered romantic affection in their actual lives.

The couple, both born in 1986, allegedly formed a deep and enduring relationship based on their shared experiences and mutual interests. They are presently occupied with wedding arrangements.

Gong Min-jeong officially debuted in 2013 with "Everyone Wants to Die in Their Own Name" and has become a prominent figure in independent films. She gained wider recognition with her role in the 2019 film "Kim Ji-young, Born 1982" and has appeared in several other notable films and television dramas, including "Familiar Wife," "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha," "Little Women," and "The Law Cafe."

Jang Jae-ho, who debuted in 2008 with the theatrical production "Regret in That Blanket," has enjoyed a multifaceted career spanning theatre, film, and television. He has gained recognition for his acting in tvN's "Confession," Channel A's "Bachelor's Vegetable Store," and KBS2's "Waves, Waves." He has gained fame and admiration for his depiction of intricate characters, such as a husband who cheats in the play "Marry My Husband."

 The imminent nuptials signify the joining of another pair of actors in the South Korean entertainment sector as part of a pattern where on-screen collaborations evolve into genuine romantic relationships. Enthusiastic supporters eagerly anticipate additional information as the wedding date draws near.
