The exciting but muted nod the Netflix drama made to another beloved K-Drama has caused a stir among the drama fans.

In the latest episode of Love Next Door, fans were shocked to see a flashback given by the male protagonist to the female lead.

In the flashback, Choi Seung-Hyo (played by actor Jung Hae-In) travels to the US to visit Bae Seok Ryu and brings her many things from Korea. One of those things was a DOS poster. DOS was the same South Korean boy band that was featured in last year's hit Kdrama titled 'Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha.'  This led netizens to speculate that the K-Dramas are part of the same universe.

Another netizen also noticed that 'Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha's Hyejin has opened a dental clinic in Homcha, while 'Love Next Door's Seunghyo has launched a new office for his architectural firm.

Both series were written by the same author and directed by the same person. What's more, they have the same actor Jo Han Chul, who played as the father of two main characters.

This nod provided you with a funny easter egg and the possibility of an even more extensive crossover between the two series.
