Ahn Bo Hyun may have been well-known for his breakout role as Alpha Team's Piccolo in the hit K-drama Descendants of the Sun, but even then, he revealed that he wasn't financially free.
During an appearance in JTBC's Knowing Bros, the South Korean actor reportedly revealed that he continued working as a part-time construction worker even when his acting career was on the rise.
Before taking on his role in Descendants of the Sun, he played Park Jong Ho in KBS's Skinship and continued working part-time to survive.

Ahn shared, "My friends thought I was like Song Joong Ki's status, but I was still working construction."
Despite getting his acting break in 2014 with MBC's Golden Cross, it wasn't until he played Jang Geun Soo, the main antagonist in Itaewon Class, that he gained widespread fame.
Today, the in-demand star is set to be seen as Roy in JTBC's Yumi's Cells, Lee Gieok in Netflix's My Name, and Han Tae Nam in Kakao TV's Military Prosecutor Doberman.
