Episode five of 'No Gain, No Love' opens with a strange man threatening to expose Kim Young Dae's family secret if he doesn't join Shin Min Ah's company, Kkulbee Education. He reluctantly agrees to be an employee at the company due to a promise he made to his grandmother. It takes Shin Min Ah completely by surprise that her fake groom is the newest worker. She tries to get him fired right away, so they wouldn't get caught in a lie. However, Shin Min Ah and Kim Young Dae's marriage becomes common knowledge at the office.
Supporting couple, Lee Sang Yi and Han Ji Hyun, connect by Lee Sang Yi giving Han Ji Hyun a handwritten apology for writing hate comments about her online web novel. She refuses to accept his apology; he almost gets hit by a vehicle; she faints from witnessing it; and the Kdrama love sparks begin.

Episode six illustrates Shin Min Ah and Kim Young Dae's first days as an office couple. They keep the mood in the workplace lighthearted by making jokes with coworkers. They do everything in their power to avoid suspicion that their relationship isn't real. Kim Young Dae even makes breakfast for Shin Min Ah in the morning, and they travel to and from work together.
The supporting couple, Lee Sang Yi and Han Ji Hyun, are dealing with the aftermath of the fainting incident. He takes her to the hospital and offers to cover all the bills, but Han Ji Hyun punishes him for the hate comments by insisting he do community service work.
Shin Min Ah and Kim Young Dae are rewarded with a special dinner following a noble act of saving someone from an abusive situation. After a drinking competition with the company's owner, the episode ends on a comedic note with our main couple and the owner sleeping in the same bed.
