"I believe the story embedded in 'Gyeongseong Creature' and its message isn't something that only Koreans can relate to, but it is a painful story that resonates universally," director Chung Dong Yoon said according to a report from 'Korea JoongAng Daily.'

He added, "I believe what's important now is that we take a moment to reflect on the people who caused this pain," the director added. "I think it is important to confront them without easily compromising and standing strong without bowing our heads, which was the initial vision behind creating this series. I really wanted to highlight that there are still people who engage in terrible acts for their own personal gain, even though 79 years have passed and so much has improved."

The show's pace promises to keep up with modern times, and the main actors had to face their fear of heights to do the impressive stunts. Viewers are sure to be pleased with the thriller series because there will be plenty of action, horror, and even heartbreaking moments.

"I believe that, from Chae-ok's perspective, she might see it as a reunion. I think that there are emotions that only she can feel when she looks at him, even though he is Ho-jae. There will definitely be heartbreaking moments for viewers when following Chae-ok's viewpoint," Han So Hee said about her on-screen character.

'Gyeongseong Creature' is about Seoul residents fighting a creature who was created from biological experiments. Writer Kang Eun Kyung and director Chung Dong Yoon return for this season.

'Gyeongseong Creature Season 2,' which stars Park Seo Joon, Han So Hee, and Claudia Kim, premieres September 27 on Netflix.
