Ji Seung Hyun Opens Up About His Battle With Incurable Disease: 'I Quit Drinking and Smoking a Month Ago’

Recently, the actor Ji Seung Hyun made a surprising and unpleasant acknowledgment about his health, announcing that he is battling an incurable disease.

One of the critical steps in Ji's life that helped prevent the development of the disease further was quitting drinking and smoking. He shared this news in a heartfelt video posted on YouTube.

The video was posted on the YouTube channel "Salty brother Shin Dong-yup" on October 3rd.

In the video, the actor sincerely talked with the host, Shin Dong-yup, sharing that there has been a turning point in his life associated with health.

About a month ago, the actor stopped drinking and smoking because of existing health problems.

He also shared that at the moment, the disease has not yet reached a very dangerous form, but it is incurable.

He said, " I should have done that last year, but now I think it's time."

During the talk, the actor also sincerely talked about the not-so-successful days that preceded his impressive career as a talented actor.

Ji Seung Hyun said that the actor's breakthrough took place in 2015 when he became so poor and had no work that he and his wife decided to open a snack shop, and literally no projects were coming to him.
