Actress and singer Lee Hyeri recently made netizens speculate about a new development in her romantic relationship.

This occurred when the star shared a photo of a pair of hands with identical rings. The post immediately went viral as her fans and the public couldn't help but quickly jump to conclusions.

A few hours after Hyeri's post, an article about the post began climbing NAVER's ranking of most read.

Numerous social media users, her fans included, were interested in finding out who had been wearing the other ring. Everybody went into a spree of guesses about Hyeri's new romantic relationship.

However, the haze was put to ease when it turned out that the hand from the photo belonged to no one but Hyeri's young sister, as Newsen reported.

The matching rings were just worn to symbolize sisterhood. The fans were at ease upon realizing they had been wrong, and the situation was somewhat amusing.

Hyeri currently does not have any new romantic partners. However, she was busy with the film industry, as she starred in the movie Victory earlier in August.

She is also all set to return to the screen again by starring in the action thriller Tropical Night. The movie, directed by Kim Pan Soo, will follow the harrowing survival story of 24 hours in the sweltering streets of Bangkok.
