The Chinese American actress and self-styled provocateur shocked fans when she shared throwback snaps of a more demure early career.

The star, 57, who has made headlines over the years for her daring outfits, gave a little insight to fans about her more innocent past on Instagram.

Actress Bai Ling — star of The Crow, Nixon and LOST — shared a series of pics from her very first acting gig in China. Now known for her expressive sexuality, the actress contemplated how both her image and perspective have changed over the years.

Bai Ling captioned, "My friend from china send me those 8 photos sharing with you, you probably never seen those photos of me when I was in China making films, so innocent . Which one do you like?"
