In light of actor Song Jae Rim's unexpected death, a touching 2022 interview has started gaining traction again, along with renewed memories of his thoughts on what his funeral should entail.
Song, who starred in the film "Good Morning," which he described as about a young girl in hospice and the themes of death and acceptance, expressed his perspective in a really cool way when the film was doing the rounds in interviews.
He said he hoped his funeral would be a celebration rather than a sad affair. "I know this sounds a little pretentious, but I want people to drink champagne on my funeral. I want a funeral like a party," he said.
When asked who he would think of initially if he were to face death, Song said: "My parents, of course. But it is not all that simple: I cannot pass away and leave this world before they do. "
