The talk started with several teaser images that illustrated the size difference between IU's tiny fingers and Byeon Woo Seok's comparatively large grip.
The fans converse on social media, reacting to it, and in fact, many had their fill of laughter over its size. From playful digs at IU's "baby hands" to gushing over Byeon Woo Seok's "giant grip," K-Netz got into a mini-debate on the topic!
One fan stated, "I notice that everytime I see Byeon Woo Seok, his hands are too big compared to IU!"
Another wrote: "I hope there is a holding hands scene in the drama lol."
"Wife of a 21st Century Prince" is a romance drama set in an alternate version of Korea that operates under a constitutional monarchy.
The drama will track the love story of Sung Hee Joo, a chaebol heiress with everything at her disposal, but when her commoner status unexpectedly becomes an obstacle to her perfect life, she winds up becoming entangled with Prince Lee Ahn.
IU will play the second daughter of Korea's largest conglomerate-owning family, Sung Hee Joo. Sung Hee Joo has it all; born beautiful, with brains and a killer instinct for competition, she has always had every advantage—and yet when her commoner background suddenly presents itself as a problem in her otherwise perfect life, she becomes embroiled with Prince Lee Ahn.
The prince, whose only possession is his royal status for being born the king's second son, Lee Ahn, played by Byeon Woo Seok, has concealed his identity all his life and undergoes a dramatic change in the course of his life after meeting Sung Hee Joo.
The series, titled "Wife of a 21st Century Prince," is now slated to air in the second half of 2025.
