Kim Sae Rom, a renowned superstar in the sphere of show business, has recently spoken about her previous relationship with chef Lee Chan-oh, who she was married to for only 14 months.

On the recent episode of "Now I'm Alone" by TV Chosun, the 34-year-old model recollected the tribulations she had to overcome as a young woman.

The future starlet had her first successful public appearance on Hey Hey Hey, hosted and run by MBC in 2002 before the media shocked millions of her fans with the anticipated news about her marriage.

Kim and Lee got married in August 2015, and they had known each other for only 4 months before making the life-changing decision.

Surprisingly, three months later, in December, the pair began filing for a legal separation, thus stopping the marriage process in January 2016. The couple had an amenable and peaceful divorce.

During the TV show, Kim reportedly mentioned that she was being hunted by the so-called "twenty-nine disease." "When I turned thirty, I felt that for no reason, the world would burst. I got anxious that all of a sudden, I would become suspicious of my femininity," confessed the charismatic young woman.

Besides, her friends and family tried to talk Kim out of her foolhardiness, being confident that she was not herself, "like being a racehorse on a racetrack, no one to both sides of me, ears shut."

However, the model confessed that, at that point in her life, everything seemed perfect. Unfortunately, their marriage turned to a disadvantage not long after.

Kim remembers, "In the beginning, I thought I could do it well as a newlywed. But it seemed like it was good for only a month or two. After about three or four months, we started to have a lot of conflicts, and I began to consider divorce. I thought it would be bad because we got married hastily, like 'Food that you eat too quickly will turn bad.'"

Despite the overall success of her career in the entertainment industry, which started in October of 2004 after the SBS Supermodel Contest, young Kim was out of work for the next six years post-divorce.

"Having been married so briefly had its disadvantages as well as advantages and I appreciate the hard times I had. It was really hard and painful at that time but it became a chance for me to become stronger."

Being a single woman, Kim is always in the limelight, subjected to thousands of gossip and posts online. However, the self-assured woman takes it all in her stride and thrives on the harsh realities of everyday life.

A frequent guest star of both "Divorce Camp: Refresh" and "Hidden Eye," Kim Sae Rom is proud to be a role model for modern-day feminine wiles.
