Veteran actor Lee Yoon Hee, who has gained much attention in theaters and films, has died. He was 64.
Media reports of January 11 say Lee is alleged to have died suddenly.
Lee was born in 1960 and had a theater career beginning in 1985 before moving to the screen with his role in 2007's "Secret Sunshine."
Among them are features like "Nameless Gangster: Rules of the Time," "Miracle in Cell No. 7," "The King," and "Song of the Bandits."
Lee's death came as a shock to his family, friends, and colleagues as he wasn't known to be suffering from any illness. Only a month prior had signed an exclusive contract with Beom Entertainment to pursue new ventures.
The agency said, "We express our deepest condolences toward Lee Yoon Hee, who was immersed in his art."
They will also be holding a funeral service for Lee on January 13.
