Actor Kim Soo Hyun has now officially clarified the buzz surrounding his alleged relationship with co-star Kim Ji Won a few days ago when he mentioned that they are only work-related.

According to Dispatch, on Jan. 24 (KST), an ardent admirer of the superstar sent a message on the messaging platform 'Bubble' imploring the actor to date Ji Won and publicly acknowledge a romantic connection with Kim Ji Jwon.

The fan said: "Please hurry up and marry Jiwon and be a love star. Make your relationship public and show it more properly than you do now. Let everyone know that you love each other so much and that you only have each other."

Kim Soo Hyun responded with, "From now on, I hope you will look at the drama as a drama," clarifying his position on the speculation that has been surrounding them since the two starred as a married couple on the tvN hit drama Queen of Tears, which ended in April 2024.

Although the drama ended, fans continued to wish for real-life love between the two stars. While Kim believes they have good chemistry onscreen, he wants to separate the duo's chemistry from their personal lives.

Meanwhile, Kim Soo Hyun will be playing a man whose life takes an unexpected turn as he changes from an office worker to a central figure in the worldwide fake goods market in the new Disney+ drama Knockoff.

The new series is due to be released sometime later this year.
