Seven participants were confirmed as the final debut members. Originally scheduled to air on MBN, the program is now expected to be broadcast through a different network.

The show faced intense public backlash after promotional teasers showed young contestants wearing heavy makeup and revealing outfits.

Additionally, profile images of the trainees were marked with barcodes, which sparked accusations that the show was exploiting minors for entertainment purposes.

MBN announced on March 28 that it would cancel the show's scheduled airing, citing public concerns. The broadcaster said it would reconsider both the show's content and whether it should air at all.

Despite the cancellation, the production company CREA Studio defended the program.

In a press conference, PD Hwang said, "The emotional damage to the children and their parents has been significant. The contestants are also deeply hurt by the distortions [in the intents of the show]. It's very heartbreaking. The show should not be canceled. If it is, the emotional impact on the children and their parents will be significant."

CREA Studio also claimed that internal reviews found no issues with the content after submitting it to relevant regulatory bodies.

Controversy stirred up further when the Korea Communications Standards Commission (KCSC) rebutted the rumor that it had cleared the show.

It has been a controversial move to get back into production after the public outcry and the cancellation of its original broadcast, leaving many to question the morals of the show and if the lives of the young participants are being put through the wringer in the name of money.
