Actor Cha Seung Won joined one of the biggest agencies in Korea, YG family, and is to work with singers Psy, Big Bang, and 2NE1, in addition to actresses Jung Hye Young, Goo Hye Sun, and Yoo In Na.
On January 20, 2014, the official spokesperson of YG entertainment said, "Actor Cha Seung Won, who has been considered as a big star for decades, showing his excellent acting skills and masculine beauty, decided to join the YG family after deciding that he with YG family will be able to yield the synergy with the YG brand's power."
Actor Cha Seung Won has appeared in a number of hit films starting from 2005, and received the best actor's award for his role in an MBC miniseries called "The Best Love" in 2011.
Cha Seung Won has appeared in the film "Into The Fire" in 2010 with the boy group Big Bang's member Choi Seung Hyun, and in the MBC miniseries drama called "The Best Love" in 2011 with actress Yoo In Na of YG Entertainment.
In related news, actress Im Ye Jin of the MBC Wednesday Thursday drama "Miss Korea" and actor Jang Hyun Sung of KBS 2 entertainment program "Superman Returns" and the film "Hwa Yi" also recently joined the YG family.
