Falling in love is easy. Staying in love is another story. That sometimes hard-won truth will drive the plot of "My Love, My Bride."

If the title sounds familiar that's because it is also the title of a 1990 hit romantic k-movie. But the classic film's storyline is being adapted into a modern-day tale of disillusioned newlyweds starring Jo Jung Suk and Shin Min Ah.

In the original film version of the story, Park Joong Hoon played a man who worked for a publishing company and dreamt of some day becoming a writer. Madly in love, he married his college sweetheart Mi Young. In the film Choi Jin Sil played the part and her performance earned her a Grand Bell Award.

The story's lovers marry in the belief that their love will last forever but they soon start to argue and find fault with each other. They are fond of saying "I love you" but have yet to realize that the word is a verb, meaning its something you have to convey it in actions. As quickly as they fell in love, they begin to doubt each other. He suspects she is seeing her ex-boyfriend and gets jealous. He flirts with another woman. Together they will have to learn what it takes to make a marriage work.

In the new version of "My Bride, My Love," Jo Jung Suk will play the newlywed wanna-be writer. The actor is best known for his roles in the films "Architecture 101" and the award-winning box office hit, "The Face Reader." He is currently wrapping up his role in the film "The King's Wrath," with co-star Hyun Bin. Jo Jung Suk also appeared in the drama "King 2 Hearts" and the hit weekend drama "You're The Best Lee Soon Shin."
