GDC 2014 saw something that probably only happens at Marvel movies where superheroes team up to fight the bad guys. While no one was fighting bad guys; Nvidia, AMD and Intel teamed up to tell everybody at GDC 2014 to see how OpenGL vs DirectX will pan out.
Nvidia released a blog on what went down at GDC when they teamed up with AMD and Intel show how OpenGL is better than DirectX:
