Paul Walker's "Fast and the Furious 7" character Brian O'Conner has been brought back to life by the movie's production team!
With the actor's passing away in November, the most prominent question lingering in people's minds was how to bring back to life the character Brian O'Conner played by Paul Walker in "Fast and the Furious 7." Through discussions and deliberations, director James Wan came to a decision to keep Paul Walker's character, former undercover agent Brian O'Conner, in the movie.
This decision was made as Paul Walker already finished shooting a significant chunk of "Fast and Furious 7." Retaining the character in the movie though would involve either making it the die a silent death or having him disappear from the movie entirely.
This was indeed a tough call for the director to make, MTV reports.
"Continuing the global exploits in the franchise built on speed, Vin Diesel and Paul Walker lead the returning cast of 'Fast & Furious 7,'" an official statement from the movie's studio reported.
The New York Daily News explores details on how the directors plan to keep Paul Walker alive in action in "Fast and the Furious 7." Reportedly, the studio and filmmaker have hired four body doubles with physical resemblance with that of Paul Walker. Also, Paul Walker's face and voice will be used - thanks to the use of CGI.
At the time of Paul Walker's death, Vin Diesel took to Facebook to pay an emotional tribute to his "Fast and the Furious 7" co-star. He posted a picture of the last scene of the movie he filmed with Paul Walker.
Vin Diesel then wrote, "There was a unique sense of completion, of pride we shared ... in the film we were now completing ... the magic captured ... and, in just how far we've come ... 'Fast and Furious 7' will be released ... April 10th 2015! P.S. He'd want you to know first."
