Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys are officially dating. "The Americans" co-stars were out on a date at The Public Theater in Manhattan where they watched the Steven Soderbergh-directed play, "The Library" on March 27, according to People magazine. An eyewitness says Russell, 38, stroked Rhys' hair as they watched the off-Broadway show about the aftermath of a school shooting, starring Chloë Grace Moretz.
Russell split from husband Shane Deary in December after seven years of marriage. The actress has two children with Deary: son River, 6 years old, and daughter Willa, 23 months. The couple married on Valentine's Day in 2007. The Russell's rep told PEOPLE at the time, "The separation is amicable and their focus is on their children." Rhys, 39, has never been married. When asked last month whether or not he and his "The Americans" co-star were a couple, the Brothers & Sisters actor told People, "That's the best [rumor] I love." The couple was also seen getting close earlier this year when the two took a stroll through Brooklyn Heights. "They were walking super close together and laughing, even stopped to look at some furniture on the street," an onlooker said to People. "They looked very much like a couple."
