Brace yourselves, PC gamers as you may receive and influx of Tecmo Koei games in future such as the much requested Dead or Alive 5 ultimate PC version!
Tecmo Koei asked fans on its Facebook page how many of them were PC gamers which signifies that the company is looking into how many of their fans are PC gamers to gauge interest in PC versions of their games.
One fan replied: "Please don't tease us," to which Koei said, "We aren't teasing. We just want to know how many so we can see what we can do."
PC releases of certain games aren't really "new" for Tecmo or Koei. For instance, YAIBA: Ninja Gaiden Z was recently released on PC, while the Nobunaga's Ambition series of games has seen a number of PC iterations as well.
Most recently, however, Tecmo Koei announced a PC version of Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends in Japan, and when we asked Tecmo Koei if the PC version would be brought to the West, they told us they would "look into the opportunity".
Should the Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate PC version gets made it would further solidify the PC platform as a good home for fighting games as a good number of fighting games have been released on the PC such as King of Fighters, Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat and Injustice.
