Keira Knightley's wedding to Klaxons star James Righton was last year on May 4, 2013.

When the "Begin Again" actress was reminded by an E! News reporter recently about their first anniversary, she seemed to have forgotten about it. This may be because Knightley has been busy joining the cast of "Everest."

When reminded by E! News recently at the Tribeca film festival about her first wedding anniversary, Knightley responded: "Oh yeah, is it?"

Knightley and Righton tied the knot at the town hall in Mazan, a small town around 12 miles from Marseilles in front of just 11 guests last year on May 2013.

She also opened up on married life and revealed that husband Righton is currently attempting to teach her to play the guitar.

"He tried to teach me how to play the guitar and I tried not to kill him-so that was about it. And he stopped trying to teach me the guitar 'cause I'm not very good at it."

Funny enough, Knightley plays the character Gretta, an aspiring singer-songwriter, in "Begin Again." Gretta is dumped by her boyfriend (Adam Levine) after he suddenly achieves success.

Knightley recently joined the cast of Baltasar Kormákur's "Everest." The film's cast keeps growing and has been in production for a long time.

The movie already features Jason Clarke, Josh Brolin, John Hawkes, Jake Gyllenhaal, Martin Henderson, Emily Watson, Thomas Wright, Sam Worthington and Robin Wright. The film will follow the awe-inspiring journey of two different expeditions to climb Everest which were challenged beyond their limits by one of the fiercest snowstorms ever encountered by mankind.

The two expeditions' mettle was tested by the harshest elements. The climbers face nearly impossible obstacles as a lifelong obsession becomes a breathtaking struggle for survival.

The 3D "Everest" movie will hit theaters on September 18, 2015.
