The Vampire Diaries actress Nina Dobrev attended the CW Upfronts in NYC on May 15 and she looked great with a major hair change. The actress was spotted with a new ombre hairstyle and her makeup was very subtle.

The actress debuted a new blond ombré hair color at the New York City event on Thursday, telling E! News' Kristin Dos Santos the makeover was for an upcoming role in The Final Girls.

This is a huge change for the 25-year-old, who up until now has always stayed loyal to her signature long brunette locks. Could she go all the way blond in the future? Definitely not! She dished that she will be dyeing it back as soon as she can.

On the red carpet Dobrev opted for an embellished Alberta Ferretti jacket with matching black skirt. Her golden Christian Louboutin pumps matched the ends of her newly dyed locks.

Although The Vampire Diaries wraps up it's fifth season tonight, we'll be seeing a lot more of Nina in the coming months as she promotes her summer comedy Let's Be Cops with Jake Johnson and Damon Wayans Jr.

On Nina’s perfect skin — She swears by It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer! It’s a full coverage, waterproof concealer with anti-aging ingredients that will get rid of dark circles.

“It covers really well and doesn’t move. I’m a vampire! I work long hours and I don’t sleep a lot, so I have dark circles. This is really the only thing that covers them,” she said.
Tip: apply under eye concealer one of two shades lighter than your natural skin tone — it’s a great way to highlight. Once you apply your concealer, be sure to set it with powder to ensure it stays put and doesn’t sink into your fine lines.

Nina’s skin looked absolutely stunning at the CW Upfronts — for her look, she suggests highlighting.

“Put a little highlighter underneath the brow, on the cheekbones, and, believe it or not, right above the lip.”

Many celebrities use this amazing trick. Highlighting the high points of your face is a great way to look sun kissed and really brings your makeup look to life.
