Lakers Rumors are swirling around Kevin Love who's trying to force the Minnesota Timberwolves' hand so he can play for the purple and gold. However, Boston Celtics, Golden State Warriors, and the Phoenix Suns are also planning to slug it out to snag the superstar forward.

According to NY Daily News, representatives of Kevin Love told the Timberwolves last week that "they had better trade him or else he'll leave via free agency."

"With Love looking to exit, there's your No. 1 reason the T-wolves have not been able to find a head coach to take over for Rick Adelman. Love wants to play for the Lakers but he's also open to coming to the Knicks," the publication reported.

Lakers rumors have revealed that the team is willing to trade its 2014 draft pick in order to land the burly forward. Even Mitch Kupchak said they are not close to any possibility.

Meanwhile, Adrian Wojanowski of Yahoo Sports said that the Boston Celtics, Golden State Warriors and the Phoenix Suns are also interested in Kevin Love.

The columnist also confirmed the Lakers rumors that Kevin Love is interested in the Lakers although the Boston Celtics is becoming more and more appealing just because of the roster, particularly since the Celtics are reportedly in a position to land No. 5 in the draft this year.

However, he said that there's a hitch when it comes to the Lakers, or any other team for that matter, trading for Kevin Love.

"No team is likely to trade for Love without an assurance that he'll commit to a five-year, $100 million maximum contract extension. Despite a belief that Love prefers Los Angeles or New York as a potential destination, he's open to deals in other markets where he can be part of an immediate contender," Adrian Wojanowski said, citing sources.
