The production team of the movie "Sado: Memories of the 8 Days" finalized the list of starring actors and actresses. The movie distributor Show Box Mediaplex said on May 26, 2014, that the actors Moon Geun Young, Yoo Ah In, and Song Kang Ho confirmed their roles in the movie.

The upcoming film "Sado: Memories of the 8 Days" is a movie directed by popular director Lee Joon Ik, and tells the story of the King Yeong Jo, played by Song Kang Ho, who orders his own son, the crown prince Sado, played by Yoo Ah In, to suffocate to death in a large wooden chest filled with rice. Actress Moon Geun Young is to play Sado's wife and queen Hye Kyung. This would be Moon Geun Young's first movie in eight years since the 2006 film "I Do Not Need Love."

"Sa Do" is a historical movie that tells a story of Prince Sah Do. Director Lee Joon Yik of the "King and the Clown" and "Wishes" is to film the movie, and actor Song Kang Ho is to star as the King Young Jo, the father of Prince Sah Do.
