Brazil World Cup 2014 Predictions: Algeria vs. Russia Match Preview; Russian Captain: 'We Will Score', Algeria 'More Than Determined To Win'

This ender for the World Cup group level matches will certainly roll the curtains down beautifully, and hype everyone for the upcoming Knockout Stage or the Round of 16.

Algeria and Russia will have to battle for second best in Group H, after the cluster favourites Belgium. This is their last chance to reserve a slot for the next round of the tournament.

All three other teams in the set still have a chance to qualify, but Algeria proves to be the best contender.

Even though they lost their opener against Belgium, their previous match against Korea is very impressive.

"Scoring four goals in a World Cup [match] was unexpected, and these three points were really important to get through to the next round," said Yacine Brahimi, last week's scorer.

"We have never made it so far, but we still have an important match to play against Russia and we hope we will repeat this success."

On the other hand, Russia's performance was rather poor, but they still managed to get through this stage. Their match against Korea Republic ended in a 1-1, while they lost to Belgium, as expected.

However, team captain Vasily Berezutskiy has high hopes for this match. "We have studied new schemes, new models and I think tomorrow we will score, we're bound to score tomorrow," he said.

Russian coach Fabio Capello supported his player with a new plan, too, apparently. "I made a change to win the match," he said.

Nevertheless, Algeria also looks forward to their match against Russia. Brahimi also said, "Of course we will try to win. A point does not guarantee us a place [in the Round of 16]. Besides, playing for a draw is not part of our principles. We will do everything to win the match, to put in a second good performance."

Prediction: Russia may look fierce, but it may still not get them even near the next stage. Algeria, on the other hand, had a great performance so far for this tournament, and are expected to board the Round of 16 with Belgium. The game will end with 2-0 win in favour of the Africans.
