Queen and Adam Lambert is currently rocking American stages for their joint tour. The spectacular series of shows started at the Chicago's United Center last June 19, where Lambert showcased his vocal range alongside legendary Queen members, guitarist Brian May, and drummer Roger Taylor.
The 24-date North American leg of the tour has already hit Chicago, Los Angeles, Vancouver and Calgary among others. Lambert and Queen fans alike gathered and witnessed the historical collaboration, selling out venue after venue.
Met with mostly favorable reviews, the American Idol alum paid tribute to Queen's original frontman, Freddie Mercury by singing a stripped down version of the rock legend's solo song, "Love Kills," with his own twist. The great rocker was also constantly shown through vintage shots and clips projected on the screens.
The performance was encapsulated in a glamorous and theatrical presentation that May and Taylor believes would have made the late Mercury proud.
