Florida beach plane crash left a father dead and his 9-year-old daughter in critical condition last Sunday. Local authorities said that the father-and-daughter tandem was just walking along Florida beach when a Florida beach plane crash on the Gulf Coast just feet from the surf.

Wendy Rose, the spokesperson of the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office, stated that the pilot and his only passenger were not hurt when the Florida beach plane crash lost its power and crashed on the afternoon of Sunday in Venice, Florida. She said, "A man and one of his children who were walking on the beach were apparently injured by the plane." The 36-year-old father, however, was later pronounced dead.

According to Rose's statements, the events started to unfold around 2:45 p.m. last Sunday. The Venice airport got a distress call that the Florida beach plane crash was unable to return to the airport as originally scheduled.

Rose said, "They were contacted by a pilot whose small plane was in distress. He knew he couldn't make it back to the airport and was going to try to land on the beach. And he did land at the edge of the water on the beach."

She also mentioned that the injured little girl was immediately airlifted to a nearby children's hospital where she is presently in critical condition. Details regarding the injuries she obtained from the Florida beach plane crash were not released to the press right away.

New pictures and videos from the beach showed the Piper Cherokee, with its nose pointed down and almost touching the white sands, just feet from a gentle lapping surf. The wing on its left side looked like it extended slightly over the edge of the water. A police boat was actually anchored quite nearby and a law enforcement officer stood beside the Florida beach plane crash. There were bystanders who witnessed the incident and were spotted in the pictures gawking from a distance.
